Spring is here and the end of the school year is in site! Our school typically has a Teacher Appreciation Week at the end of the school year to honor the schools’ teachers for all their hard work during the year. Each day of this special week the school suggests different ways to celebrate your children’s teachers. One of my favorite days is, ‘bring your teacher a homemade gift’ day. My daughters and I love brainstorming different gift ideas and creating a present together. This year we decided to make their teachers a planter box full of beautiful shrubbery. My youngest daughter had the idea of adding flower lollipops to the shrubbery for added color and a sweet treat. I loved it! I designed a printable ‘Thank You For Helping Me Grow’ sign to add to the front of the planter box to help tie everything together. I love how it turned out! Paint the DIY Flower Box Centerpiece with White Acrylic Paint. I painted the box centerpiece enough times to tell that it was white, but not enough to hide the wood grain. Print the free printable ‘Thank You For Helping Me Grow’ Sign on heavy white card stock. I like 110 lbs. Print at 100%, then cut the printable out. Download the Free Appreciation GIft Printable here!
