Create a fort from which VBS students can seek out the sky and the stars that God created. Simple to set up, this DIY decorating idea becomes a great place for students to think and contemplate the galaxy, and it's wonderful as a photo backdrop.
Adhere the wood paper to the panels. We used large foam core sheets to create our panels.
Cut out a door and window.
Tape the panels together.
Cut out individual printed wood boards and adhere around the door and window.
Paint the individual wood boards to make them stand out.
To create the tree prop, start by wrinkling and twisting long lengths of kraft paper. Wrap the paper around the form (we used a coat rack) and glue it in place. Continue this step until the entire form is fully covered. Then cut leaf shapes from colored tissue paper and glue onto the tree branches.
