Fresh flowers make an appearance in an unexpected and unique way with these fresh flower napkin rings. They don’t take much in the way of supplies, and can be created with any flowers you like. These pretty accents make a bold impact when wrapped around a basic white napkin, and really pop against place settings. Scatter a few extra petals on the table for an extra festive look, and prepare yourself for compliments from appreciative guests.
Snip a length from the Craft Wire, approximately 5 inches long. Wrap it into a circular shape, overlapping the ends and securing by twisting together.
Use floral tape to carefully wrap the stem of a flower head and attach to the wire, as shown. Leave the stems on until the end, you’ll be trimming up your creation in a later step!
Continue attaching flowers as in the previous step. Place larger flowers toward the center, and add smaller heads on the sides. Flowers look great in odd bunches, so cluster like blooms in counts of 1, 3, or 5 for a well balanced look. Once the ring is covered fully across one half, trim the ends with scissors or floral snips. (Don’t trim too close to the tape!)
Cut a length of the Black and White Striped Ribbon to about eight inches, and wrap around one of the White Polyester Linen Napkins. Secure gently in the center with a relaxed knot. Use scissors to cut the ends of the ribbon at an angle for a crisp, clean and finished look.
Carefully slide the napkin ring onto the napkin, and place in the center of the table settings.
You're done! These pretty floral napkin rings are perfect for spring and you can't go wrong with a pop of fresh floral!
