Create this DIY Table Runner for your next Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving Party! Each person gets a personalized placemat that is sure to make them smile. Follow the simple steps below to create this inexpensive and simple craft.
Roll the Kraft Paper Roll out lengthwise along the center of your table and then cut. Make sure to give yourself a little extra paper on each end so the paper lays nicely over the edges of the table. Place a Copper Chevron Scalloped Edge Dinner Plate on the paper where each person will be sitting. This will serve as a reference point for where to personalize and decorate the setting.
Find the letters of your guest’s first name from the Mini Alphabet Stencil Set. We chose to use a lowercase script font from the stencil.
Place the stencil of the first letter to the top left of the dinner plate and color it in with the white chalk marker. Continue this step until your each guest’s name is complete!
For the next part of our table runner decor, we created a “Thankful for” list at each person’s setting. Find the appropriate letters from the stencil set, then lay out and color them in, staying to the middle right of the dinner plate.
Using the ruler, provide a few lines for each person to write down what they are thankful for this holiday season.
Lastly, take the Fall Nature Stencil Set and stencil in some decorative fall details wherever you would like on the runner. We added some near each person’s name, and also to fill in space in between each place setting.
