Every good pool party needs a fun, summer drink to accompany it and the Frose is the perfect addition to sip by the water. Featuring frozen Rose (the unofficial wine of summer) this drink is light, refreshing, and best of all pink! We chose this recipe from Bon Appetit to serve at our Flamingo Poolside Bachelorette Pool Party and enjoyed serving it in the Tiki Tumblers and Inflatable Floating Flamingo Coasters.
- 1 Bottle Rose of choice
- 8 oz. Cut Strawberries
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- Ice Cubes
- 2 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
- Extra Strawberries for Garnish
Pour Rose into a pan or bowl and freeze for up to 6 hours. I suggest freezing the night before your party so it is ready in the morning.
While your Rose is freezing boil a 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan for three minutes. Remove from heat and add cut strawberries. Let sit for 30 minutes to infuse the sugar mixture. Remove from heat and add cut strawberries. Let sit for 30 minutes to infuse the sugar mixture.
Once cool, add 3 ounces of strawberry syrup to your blender. (I like to also include the strawberries from the saucepan) Remove Rose from freezer and add to blender. Add 2 1/2 ounces lemon juice and a handful of ice. Blend until smooth.
Pop your Frose into the freezer until ready to serve. Pour your drink into Tiki Tumblers and top with bamboo straws and full strawberries to enjoy.
