Nothing beats the heat on a scorching summer day quite like a frosty drink. This sweet, tart limeade is the perfect icy beverage for a hot day: cool, creamy, and absolutely, irresistibly refreshing. Great for fiestas, barbecues, potlucks, and everyday afternoon treats.

Add the limes, sugar, and sweetened condensed milk to a blender. Add the cold water BUT NOT THE ICE CUBES! You can use clean hands or a large spoon to hold the ice back, or pour the water through a strainer and put the ice back in the measuring cup. Don't get rid of it; you'll need it in a minute. Blend the mixture until there are no huge chunks of lime rind left.

Pour the mixture through a strainer to strain out all the lime rind and pulp. You can pour it into a new container or the container that still has the ice in it. Throw away the chewed up lime pulp.

Give the blender and lid a quick rinse to get any lime pulp out. Pour the strained mixture and the ice back into the rinsed blender, and blend until smooth and frosty.
