Ella and Annie have a new twist on the traditional Fall cornucopia! We decided to make a fruit of the spirit cornucopia, a faith-based craft that shares with kids how Jesus can shine through them. The fruits of spirit are love, joy, self-control, faithfulness, kindness, goodness, peace, patience and gentleness. We have a free cornucopia printable to get you started. Craft your favorite fruit from construction paper and fill your cornucopia to the brim!
Download the Free Cornucopia Printable Template here and print out. Trace the template onto a brown piece of craft foam. Cut the cornucopia out.
With various colored pieces of construction paper (no template needed), using a 2-2.5" circle punch, punch out an orange and red circle for the apple and orange. Using a 1" circle punch, punch out two red circles for the cherries, four blue circles for the blueberries and eight purple circles for the grapes.
Cut a few leaf shapes from green construction paper, and any other fruit shapes you would like to complete your cornucopia.
Piece the fruit together with a glue stick on the cornucopia you cut out using the printable template. With a black Sharpie®, write the fruits of spirit on the cornucopia fruit; love, joy, peace, faithfulness, goodness, kindness, patience, gentleness and self-control.
