Your little gamers will love this fun DIY Game Zone backdrop banner. It lets them know just what kind of party they are walking into. From Fortnite, to Roblox, Legend of Zelda and more, this banner is sure to appeal to all gamers. I'm excited to share just how fun and easy it was to create! Be sure to grab the FREE printable here to make your own.
First, unpack the Knight's Kingdom Castle Cupcake Display Using a box cutter, cut 4"- 5" squares from the bottom and middle layers of the cupcake display. Keep cutting until you have 8 equally sized squares.
Next, print and cut out the "GAME ZONE" letters from the FREE printable template. Apply one letter to each square using Glue Dots®. You could also use Bright Self-Adhesive Letters as the letters that spell out GAME ZONE.
Attach the complete GAME ZONE banner to the wall using Fabulous Foam Double-Sided Tape. Next, take the thinner connector pieces from the Knight's Kingdom Castle Cupcake Display and attach these to the wall. Apply them in a staggered format similar to old school arcade games.
Next, blow up two Inflatable Pickaxes. Once inflated use Fabulous Foam Double-Sided Tape to stick them the wall. Apply them at an angle, one on each side of the banner.
Now it's time to create dynamite sticks! Roll up 3 pieces of red card stock from the Bright Christmas Scrapbook Paper Pack into tubes. Tape these together into a pyramid shape. Tape at the top and bottom approximately 1-2 inches from each end. Finish by going over the clear tape with Black Duck Tape® Duct Tape to create 2 black bands.
Next, we'll create the flame. Take an Orange Tissue Paper Sheet and cut a strip 5" wide. Cut the edges with small cuts 1/3rd from each side. Leave an uncut portion in the middle. Roll the cut tissue into a small tube, fold in half and wrap tape around the bottom.
Wrap the tape end of the flame with Black Duck Tape®. Insert the duct taped end of the flame into the middle of the dynamite rolls.
Finally, attach the dynamite to the wall using Glue Dots®.
