Mason jars are an easy and inexpensive way to bring a bit of shabby chic style to any event. With the addition of simple ribbons, cording, and fresh flowers, you can bring some floral fabulousness to your next celebration! This suspended mason jar decor project looks great hanging over a drink cart or dessert table at your event.
Begin by hot gluing the edge of the Natural Cording to the lower lip of the top of the Quart Ball Mason Jar.
Continue to add glue around the lip of the Quart Ball Mason Jar and attach the Natural Cording until it is covered (2 rings). Add a drop of hot glue to secure end of the Natural Cording.
Cut a small piece of Natural Cording (approximately 5 inches) to serve as the handle on the Quart Ball Mason Jar. Place a drop of hot glue on either side of the interior lip of the Quart Ball Mason Jar and attach Natural Cording so it forms a loop.
Cut enough Wide Natural Ribbon and White Lace Ribbon to wrap around the center of the jar. Add a drop of hot glue to the edges of the White Lace Ribbon and adhere it to the Wide Natural Ribbon.
Wrap the double layer of ribbon around the center of the Quart Ball Mason Jar and adhere with hot glue. Place Baby’s Breath into jar.
Cut and tie a strand of White Satin Ribbon to the loop of the Quart Ball Mason Jars. (Length will vary depending on what you choose to hang your jars from).
Repeat steps 1-6 for as many Mason Jars you would like to hang. Once you have completed all the jar decor, simply hang from either command hooks or any natural element that would serve as an sturdy location.
