Want to add a fun game and a bit of friendly competition to your own Gender Reveal Party? Create this Gender Reveal Welcome Sign to encourage guests to “pick a team” when they arrive at the party. This fun DIY project is simple to make, is a great way to put your own signature on the party, and gets guests involved in the gender reveal fun! Here’s how to get started.
Attach silver tape to the clothespin. Trim and fold down the two sides. Repeat on the other side of the clothespin until both sides are covered in silver tape.
Attach six jewels to each clothespin. I made six blue and six pink clothespins.
Write text on your chalkboard using pink and blue chalkboard markers. I wrote: “Pick a team! Wear it proud!” This was a way to encourage the guests to grab a clothespin and wear it throughout the party.
Cut a blue ribbon and a pink ribbon longer than the height of the chalkboard. Tape ribbon to the back of the chalkboard using heavy tape. I used packing tape.
Attach the clothespins to the ribbons. I attached the pink clothespins to the pink ribbon and the blue clothespins to the blue ribbon then show off your welcome sign and encourage your guests to pick a team!
