These lovely DIY napkin rings are the perfect complement to your geode wedding decor. This is a quick and easy DIY wedding project that takes less than 30 minutes and makes a huge impact at the table setting. With the sparkles of the geodes against the dark grey napkins, these napkin rings are sure to rock your wedding!
Place a small elastic band around the white polyester linen napkins. This will ensure that the bottom of the napkins will be a little darker than the tops so that you can get an ombre effect.
Place the napkins inside a large pot and add black dye to the pot following the package directions. Allow the napkins to sit in the dye for at least an hour.
After about an hour, pull the napkins out of the pot of dye and allow them dry.
While the napkins are drying, crack open several geodes and use the best ones for the project. Add a dab of hot glue to silver round napkin rings and place the cracked geode halves on top of the hot glue.
Allow the geodes to dry for a couple minutes.
Place the dyed napkins through the geode rings and set them on top of the plates for your guests to enjoy.
