Cut out a simple triangle shape out of cardstock to use as a template. Trace the triangle template onto Large Craft Cork Square Tiles and cut them out.
You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to create the perfect stripes using one of my favorite craft supplies, washi tape. Simply apply a piece of washi tape to a couple of the cork triangles. Apply another piece of washi tape directly beside the first one. This will serve as a guide for spacing the tape exactly the same width all the way across the cork shape. Place another piece of washi next to the second one and then remove the second washi tape. Continue this across the cork, reusing the second piece of washi as you go. Waste not want not!
Use acrylic paint and a flat bristled paint brush to paint in between the pieces of washi tape. Don’t worry about getting the paint on the tape, that is what it is there for.
Once the paint is dry, peel off the washi tape to reveal the perfectly painted stripes underneath.
Dip a small Round Dauber into a White Craft Cup of acrylic paint and stamp polka dots onto the remaining cork triangles.
