As one crafter to another, I am sure you can relate to the chaos that surrounds your “creation” room. My family can always tell when I am involved in a big project. I have each and every space filled with boxes, supplies, finished projects and the list goes on. In an effort to regain control of my office or what I like to call my “creation” room, I have come up with a simple yet crafty solution. I decided to create a storage board for my most used craft supplies.
Mark the spots on the wall where the screws will be. Drill one screw in each corner of the board. Leave a little space between the wall and the board so that the peg hooks can slip into the holes on the pegboard. TIP: Make sure to measure and mark where your screws will go & pre-drill the holes for the screws.
To hang the ribbon & washi tape, you will need peg hooks and dowels. Position your peg hooks and place the dowel on the hooks, about 1/2″ to 3/4″ hangs over on the ends. Slide your supplies onto the dowels and hang the dowel onto your positioned hooks.
Use a steel pegboard hook to hang the scissors.
Using a single hook, hang the clear buckets filled with chalk, glitter glue pens & glitter.
There you have it! An easy and pretty cool craft room storage solution, if I may say so myself. What are your favorite crafting supplies? We would love to see how you too can create a pegboard storage solution and how you use your favorite craft products.
