When it came to styling our Glitz-O-Ween Dinner Party, we knew we wanted to add a few dark, romantic pieces of decor. That’s when we decided to create these DIY Lace Pumpkins. We absolutely love the look and feel these pumpkins brought to our table and know they will add a special touch to your next Halloween soiree as well!

Step

Begin by cutting a strip of black lace ribbon and trim it so it is the same length and width as each rounded ridge and crevice of the pumpkin.

Step

Add a thin line of hot glue to the top of the pumpkin at the base of the stem and attach the strip of black lace ribbon. Add another thin line of hot glue in the crevice of the pumpkin that aligns with the edge of the black lace ribbon and attach the ribbon to the pumpkin.

Continue this process until each ridge of the pumpkin is covered.

Next, add a thin layer of Mod Podge to the stem of the pumpkin.

Step

Sprinkle the black glitter onto the stem until it is fully covered. This may take 2-3 coats of Mod Podge and glitter.

We just love the look of our lace pumpkins and are thrilled with how they turned out! We will definitely be using these in our Halloween home decor as well!
