Need a quick appetizer? This is one of my favorites to serve at any gathering. With just four simple ingredients of creamy goat cheese, candied pecans, fresh rosemary and a drizzle of honey, this will definitely be the talk of the party.
- 1 8oz Package Goat Cheese
- 1 Package Candied Pecans (or any nut of your choosing)
- 3 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary
- Honey
On a cutting board roughly chop up your candied pecans into small pieces. You can easily substitute with any other type of nut; pistachios, walnuts or even almonds would be delicious.
Next, finely chop your fresh rosemary. This is definitely a more potent herb choice, so use what best fits your taste.
Combine nuts and rosemary in a shallow dish and spread out into a layer. While gently pressing down, roll the goat cheese log into the mixture until completely coated. Place on a serving plate and drizzle with honey. Serve with crackers.
