Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because I love seeing how creative people get with their decorations and costumes. I feel like it's the one holiday where anything goes. One of my favorite things to do, other than come up with amazing costumes, is to whip up a new Halloween wreath every year. So I'm showing you how to make your own spooky spider Halloween wreath.

Project Time

Step

Begin by wrapping the wreath form with the black ribbon. Hot glue one end of the ribbon to the wreath form and wrap it around until the form is completely covered in ribbon. Glue the end of the ribbon to secure it.

To make the spider web, grab the orange ribbon and make a star pattern on the wreath form gluing the ends of the orange ribbon to the backside of the wreath. This will be the base of your spider web.

Flip the wreath over so the front is facing down. Cut small pieces of the orange ribbon. Glue one end of the small piece of ribbon to a base ribbon, about 1″ from the center. Glue the other end of the ribbon to the neighboring base ribbon. Make sure not to pull on the ribbons when gluing. Continue all the way around.

Attach the fake spiders with the glue. Don’t go overboard because you don’t want the excess glue to ooze out and show.

Adorably spooky right? This spider DIY Halloween wreath is extremely easy to make and inexpensive. Also, keep in mind that you can make it larger by using a bigger wreath form. You can also change up the colors of ribbon to better match your Halloween decor— black and purple, orange and purple, etc.
