Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge® onto a plastic jar. Apply 1.5" tissue paper squares onto the wet Mod Podge®. Apply another layer of Mod Podge® on top of the tissue paper squares. Allow time to dry. Carefully trim any tissue paper squares that may be hanging off the edges of the jar once dry.
Use a pencil to draw and cut out a mouth, eyes and nose for your Halloween character.
Use wiggle eyes, adhesive foam, rick-rack, etc., to embellish the jars. Insert a battery operated tea light into the jar.
