Create a beautiful table linen for less with this easy DIY. Using a plain white linen and a chalk marker make a table linen to go with your bridal shower.

Patterned table linens can be a costly element when planning a chic party, but they can't be skipped as a design element, because they're such a great way to enhance a beautiful party! We've create this simple and inexpensive way to make your own using a clever technique that's so easy, it feels like cheating! Using just a black pen and some cloth napkins and a tablecloth, you can create a custom design that only looks expensive.
What You'll Need:
Step 1: Protect your work surface. The permanent pen does have a tendency to bleed through as you work, so a piece of scrap cardboard or plain paper is a good idea. Lay a
White Polyester Linen Napkin out flat in front of you.
Step 2: Starting in the center, create a row of dots that are evenly spaced using a black
Permanent Chalk Marker. These are a handy tool for many party purposes, but this is a totally new way to use them! I like to keep lots on hand for projects. You can eyeball the distance or use a ruler for a more precise method.
Step 3. Repeat your pattern until the napkin has been covered in dots. Repeat on each napkin, as well as the
White Rectangle Polyester Tablecloth.

These linens can be customized any way you like! Try drawing different shapes, like circles, squares, or hearts. You can also use different colored permanent markers or fabric pens to embellish your own table linens. Leave the pens at the table for guests to add a personal message for a keepsake that will be cherished all year round. Making your own unique table linens is a fantastic way to add a bit of personalization to any party! Want to see more, then check out my
