Your wedding guests love these customized wood favor boxes. They’re a simple and affordable way to add a bit of personalization and charm to a rustic wedding. We’ve designed these ones to go with our Wedding Pie Bar. They each hold a small pecan pie that guests can take away with them after the dancing is done. This favor won’t get left behind!
Using the craft paint, apply a thin coat of paint to the monogram letter you’ve selected, and press down to the center of the box lid. Lift carefully so that the letter does not smudge.
Repeat for the other boxes. We like to work in dozens, like a small assembly line, to stay organized, without overtaking the craft space.
Add your favor item to the box. We found small pecan pies and carefully nestled them inside. They were a perfect fit!
You could also use our Charming Cherry Pies for this favor box!
Tie the box closed with bakers twine, securing in the center of the top of the lid, as shown.
Using a black fine point marker, write “Thank you” on eyelet tags.
Attach the tag to the bakers twine, securing with a small knot.
The completed favor boxes are ready to be displayed! Take a picture, because these are a huge hit with guests and are sure to disappear quickly!
