Add a pop of color (and a tasty treat!) to your festive table with some Hanukkah bark and cute DIY Gift Boxes. When packaged in clear favor boxes, this homemade white-and-blue swirled bark topped with Hanukkah M&M's® does double duty as a tasty party favor. Just don't be surprised if your guests want to unwrap the shimmer ribbon adorned with Hanukkah charms and break into the holiday-themed bark before the party ends! This idea was perfect for the Modern Hanukkah Party I hosted for friends and family this year.
Heat white and blue candy melts separately and spread them on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet. Create a swirled pattern with a fork, toothpick, or pair of chopsticks. Gently press Hanukkah M&M's® into melted candy and let it cool for about an hour.
While your Hanukkah bark is cooling, assemble clear favor boxes and add a layer of blue chocolate candies. When the bark is ready, break it into large chunks and place inside the assembled boxes.
Cut approximately 46" of blue shimmer ribbon for each box. After wrapping ribbon around box — but before tying a bow — string a Hanukkah charm onto ribbon. Trim the end of the ribbon on a diagonal for a clean edge.
