A yummy, sweet twist on a cereal treat mix that makes an excellent finger licking snack perfect for any party! Made for the cute Happi Tree Baby Shower.
- 1 c. Brown Sugar
- 2 Sticks of Butter
- 1 Pack of Marshmallows
- 3 c. Rice Chex Cereal
- 6 c. Golden Grahams Cereal
- 1/2 t. Salt
Make your caramel. Don’t stick your finger in it. It is hot. Ask me how I know. Add your cereal, and then add more if you want. I like my cereal to be coated, and not dripping. Just pleasantly sticky.
Cool mixture. I let it cool and harden up on wax paper.
Here you can either break it off into pieces or put into cute serving bowls.
Insert adorable pick and smile at the cuteness. Try not to. I dare you.
Finally, put your cute little trail mix cups out for your guests to grab and eat. Just be sure to save the rest in an airtight container.
