If you love having beautiful plants and succulents around your house, it’s always nice to have cute planters to go with them. I especially love succulents and all of the different shapes and sizes they come in, and how easy they are to take care of. These little heart shaped planters are just perfect for tiny succulents.
Paint your heart shaped trays with a couple of coats of paint. You could also use spray paint to save time.
Cover your heart with a thick coat of Mod Podge® or another sealant.
Since there isn’t any drainage, add a few small rocks or pebbles to the bottom of your planter. Then cover with dirt.
Plant your little succulents (I used a lot of clippings from larger succulents) and cover the dirt with a layer of white sand.
And enjoy! These planters make great handmade gifts as well.
