Nothing makes your home smell better than freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. So before you invite your party guests over whip up a batch of these chewy, chocolatey, yummy cookies. When you are hosting a party for your neighbors you need a little something for them to take with them when they leave. So why not give them a little snack for the road. These chocolate chip cookies make the perfect parting gift. Just bake up a batch and slide them into a personalized treat bag. Pass these out to your guests as they head home.
- 1 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar Packed
- 1 Cup Raw Sugar Crystals
- 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Large Eggs
- 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips (Chips and Chunks)
- 1 Tsp Sea Salt
Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl mix together your flour, baking soda, salt. Set aside.
Cream the butter and brown sugar together. Slowly add in the raw sugar crystals. Mix in one egg at a time until all ingredients are blended together. Add the dry ingredients into the bowl, mix until they are all incorporated together.
Using your hands gently mix in 2 cups of chocolate chips. I prefer to use 1 cup chocolate chunks and 1 cup of regular chocolate chips. Mix by hand until all of the chips and incorporated into the dough.
Use a spoon to scoop out the dough, make into large balls and place on the cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
Let cookies cool on the pan for 2 minutes, they will continue to cook. Transfer to a cooling rack after 2 minutes.
The cookies are ready for their treat bags, just add a few into each bag and set the remainder of the cookies out for guests to create their own treat bags.
