These pots of Honey Slime were such a fun craft to make at our Teddy Bear Picnic! Decorate mini honey pots and try making some honey slime yourself.
Using the Permanent Chalk Markers, write “HONEY” on the front of the pot. It looks great in black or white. These chalk markers are awesome!
Using the gold permanent marker, draw honey dripping from the top of each honey pot. Try drawing the drips in a few places.
Add sweet adhesive bees to the front of the honey pots. We added 3 or 4 around the pot. We loved how mini these pots and bees were.
In a bowl, pour the corn starch. In a separate bowl add the water.
Warm up water in the microwave for 30-40 seconds.
Add yellow food coloring to the water.
Pour the water mixture into the corn starch.
Gradually mix with your hands. This will give the mixture a slime-like feel and appearance. You will need to add a bit more water if it is too dry or a bit more corn starch if the slime is too wet.
You can store the slime in a sealed plastic bag. Just add a little more water if the slime seems to dry out.
