At first, I was super intimidated to make these but once I read the easy to follow directions, I was making Felt Hyacinth Flowers right and left. You can even make a whole bouquet of these, just add in a few long green leaves to fill in. These flowers are great to add depth, color and to fill in any felt flower project that needs a little height.
Create a felt hyacinth flower of your very own by cutting a 1.5” x 8.5” strip of felt.
Use the tip of your scissors to cut slits every ¼” making sure not to cut through the entire strip, making a strip of looped fringe.
Wrap and swirl the fringed felt around a green chenille stem, gluing it along the way to hold it in place.
And just like that you have a Felt Hyacinth Flower ready to adorn all of your DIY projects. See? I told it was easy. Click here to learn how to make other types of felt flowers.
