Cut the natural cording so it is twice the height of your backdrop frame. Fold the cording in half and hang the folded half over the top bar. Bring the ends of the cording through the top loop and pull through to secure.

Each hanging cording group has two pieces hanging down. Split your original groups in two and create new groups of two. Tie these new groups in knots about two inches down.

For the next round, drop the two center pieces of cording from your knots. Leave these two pieces hanging. As you begin your next round of knots drop the next row of cording from your knots. Continue this pattern until you reach the ends of your backdrop on both sides.

Once your macrame has dried decorate the top and sides of your ceremony backdrop with faux eucalyptus. Begin by wrapping eucalyptus around the top left of your backdrop stand and wrap along the pole as you work down. This should hold on it's own but if not, secure with a bit of floral wire.
