Having a backdrop for your bridal shower or party is a fabulous way to make a statement and provide some gorgeous decor for the room. We created an eye-catching backdrop for our recent Rosé All Day Bridal Shower using Letter Mylar Balloons , and a bit of paint and couldn't be happier with how it turned out! These giant Letter Mylar Balloons are all the rage right now and we love that they can be painted and decorated to fit any theme you may be styling!
Remove the Letter Mylar Balloon from its packaging and lay on a flat surface. Insert a Paper Straw into the slot given for inflating the balloon. Blow air through the straw until the balloon is fully inflated.
Using a large, wide Paintbrush, paint each letter with Pink Acrylic Paint. Make sure to paint with the seaming of the balloon and not against for a cleaner look. Once dry, cut a piece of fishing line long enough to run the length of your wall. String the painted Mylar Letter Balloons on the fishing line spelling our the word, ROSE, and hang on the wall. We hung ours using two reusable command hooks. Use a few Glue Dots to secure the letters in place if need be.
Next, use the Gold Washi Tape to spell out the letters ALL DAY underneath the hanging Mylar Letter Balloons.
Paint the DIY Unfinished Wood Diamonds in varying shades of pink using the Tropical Acrylic Paint Set.
Add a Glue Dot to the back of each Diamond and adhere to the wall around the Balloons and Washi Tape letters.
