Have you ever attended a wedding and thought just how pretty their dinner tables were? Tablescapes are easier than you think! This post is full of affordable and stunning place setting and centerpiece ideas. Note how I layered the place setting and matched the centerpiece colors accordingly to the color palette, even down to the menu colors. Layering will give you a fuller, more elegant look to your tables. Mixing all of these jewel tone colors together creates an absolutely beautiful table design. You could use these ideas and layout with a different color combination as well according to your wedding colors!
For the table setting you want to start with a gold charger and then layer on your plates. I chose to do the napkin under the plates because the wind in Oklahoma is awful. You could also have the napkin draping down instead. You can then layer on a menu card if wanted. I rented gold-plated utensils to use for the occasion. I went with a more casual utensil place setting.
You can set up a wine and champagne glass at each place setting, or leave the champagne glasses at the cake table for toasting. You can also add water glasses to your place settings as well.
