Sea turtles are one of my favorite animals! So as you can imagine, I was thrilled when I got to style a Sea Turtle First Birthday Party. It was full of the cutest sea turtle party decorations including DIY Sea Turtle Pom-Poms and a DIY Sea Turtle Party Garland. See all the party details in the full party post: A Sea Turtle First Birthday Party. These sea turtle fruit plates are simple to put together and will make any little turtle lover smile.
Cut green apples in half from the top to the bottom. Remove the stem and any seeds with a spoon.
Cut green grapes in half then place an apple half on a lime green dessert plate and arrange the grape halves around it to make a turtle head and four turtle feet.
Next it’s time to affix the gummy turtle shell. I like to cut off both ends of a mini marshmallow which leaves a super sticky middle. It’s like an edible glue dot! Use the sticky mini marshmallow center to stick the green gummy hearts to form a “turtle shell” on the back of the apple half.
Serve these cute and healthy sea turtle fruit plates on lime green dessert plates. I layered the green dessert plates on turquoise quatrefoil dinner plates and served with lime green forks and turquoise quatrefoil napkins. Enjoy snacking on these cute little turtles!
