John 8:12 talks about how Jesus is the Light of the World! Use this craft in Sunday School, VBS, or even at home after teaching how God sent His Son Jesus to save us from sin and darkness. The kids will enjoy getting to paint their own Cross Suncatchers and then hang them up in a window to remind them that Jesus is the Light of the World. The Cross Suncatcher pack comes with 6 different cross designs. Have each child pick a cross to paint and put it on a Craft Tray. These reusable Craft Trays are perfect for crafts, especially involving paint. Plus, the crosses can stay on the trays to dry.
Use the Suncatcher Paint Pens to paint the inside of the cross. The pens work great and eliminate the mess of brushes. Just be sure to remove the plug under the cap before using the pen. Let the crosses dry overnight before continuing the project.
Once the paint is completely dry, tie a string to the Cross Suncatcher so that it can be hung up at home.
Tape the cross to the "Jesus is the Light of the World" paper, so that the kids can take it home and use it!
