Good luck is sure to be on your side when you hang this adorable DIY Lucky Shamrock Banner in your home for St. Patrick's Day. Grab your paint brush and some glitter and create a fun banner that you can use to decorate your home or to add pizzaz to your St. Patrick's Day party.
Lay out 5 of the white canvas banners side by side. Use a pencil to sketch the word LUCKY in cursive on the banners.
Use a paintbrush and green paint to paint over the sketched outline of the word LUCKY.
Dip the eraser of your pencil in white paint and create polka dots on the canvas banner. Sprinkle with gold glitter and gently shake off to remove any excess glitter.
Grab a blank white canvas banner and use washi tape to create horizontal stripes on your banner.
Paint in between the washi tape with gold paint. Let the paint dry completely and carefully remove washi tape.
Use one of the wooden shamrocks as a template and trace it onto your striped banner.
Use mini clothespins to attach each piece of the banner to a piece of string. Add colorful mini tassels to give it an extra pop of color and fun. Add hits of gold with Gold Trip Terrariums ( do not use open flame candles with this product) to complete the look.
