When I host a party, I always like to have a craft that coordinates with the theme and that can be used once the party is over. I can always come up with a million uses for a tote bag, and I know this Donut Tote will be the first one my daughter will grab when she needs one.
Choose a paper plate or cut your cardboard circle the size you would like your donut. Next, cut a smaller circle in the center to create your “hole”
Trace your circle onto two pieces of felt, choosing one color for the donut and another for the frosting. Draw a wave pattern on the “frosting” piece. Cut out each circle.
Glue your “frosting” to the donut.
Gather your decorating supplies, and get creative! Use your imagination on this because we all know there are many varieties of donuts!
Glue your donut to the front of your tote. (You will need to use a glue that can adhere to plastic, like this one.)
