Spray paint the mason jar lids with white or glitter blast paint.
Place the lids on a covered surface, shake the can of spray paint and spray from 12 inches away. Allow the lids to dry completely.
Arrange the figurines (trees, snowmen, deer, penguins) how you would like them to appear in the jar. Glue the figurines into place with hot glue onto the painted lid of the mason jar.
Add a small scoop of artificial snowflakes to mason jars.
