Light up the night with these adorable mummy mason jars! Gauze and googly eyes come together to make a fun, simple DIY craft that can be used over and over again each Halloween.

Cut various holes throughout a section of gauze. The more torn up the gauze, the better!

Stretch and pull at the section of gauze to give the holes even more shape.

Glue the gauze around the bottom of the Mason jar. Wrap the gauze around the jar until the rest of the jar is covered and glue the end of the gauze to hold in place.

Twist two white chenille stems together to create the mummy’s arm.

Wrap torn gauze around both of the chenille stems. Use hot glue to adhere

Wrap the arms around the back of the Mason jar then attach arms with hot glue.

Attach two googly eyes to the front of the jar with hot glue.

Put a battery-operated flameless candle in the bottom of the jar.

Create just one mummy or make multiple to show off on a mantle or tablescape. Another great idea would be to place two or three on a porch to greet trick or treaters.  These Mason Jar Mummies are the perfect way to set the Halloween scene after the sun goes down!
