Full of mermaid gummy candy, sparkly sprinkles, edible fish and sea shell candy, this cute and easy treat is perfect for a Mermaid Birthday Party, pool party or a fun summer craft with kids. I love all of the cute mermaid and beach themed party supplies! It was a blast shopping for candy to go into the bark. There are so many cute edible sea creatures to add to the recipe!

Ingredients:

2 Bags Turquoise Candy Melts
Mermaid Gummy Candy
Fish Candy
Whale Gummies
Sea Shell Candy
Round Candy Sprinkles
Blue Candy Sprinkles
Brown Sugar
Beach Ball Lollipops
Pop Rocks

Step

Unwrap all of your candy and get everything ready to assemble.

Step

Place a large piece of wax paper the size of your baking pan on the kitchen counter. Place gummy mermaids and whales on it, arranging how you would like it to look on your candy bark. Now you can copy this when it's time to place them onto the melted candy.

Step

Add the candy melts to a large glass bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds at a time, stirring between each break. This way you won't overheat and burn the candy.

Step

Pour melted candy into a wax paper lined cookie or baking sheet. Smooth it out with a spatula and shake lightly to get rid of any wrinkles.

Step

Sprinkle the melted candy with blue sparkly candy sprinkles. Then begin placing large gummy mermaids and whales on the candy.

Step

Place round candy sprinkles around the mermaid's heads and whales to look like bubbles. Then add all other candy.

Step

Let completely cool and cut into pieces.

Step

Decorate your platter with brown sugar as sand and for added fun add pop rocks for shells.

Step

Add the Mermaid Candy Bark pieces on one side of plate.

Step

Place a beach umbrella and some flip flop erasers in the sand. Trim the beach ball lollipop sticks to 1 inch and place into the sand.
