Create a creepy, cute take home favor for party guests at a Haunted Mermaid Party. With only a few steps and supplies, you can easily create several of these mermaid skeleton favor boxes in no time. Cut the skeleton mermaids off of the skeleton mermaid string lights and paint them gold using spray paint or gold acrylic paint. Paint the unfinished wood treasures boxes with blue acrylic paint and allow both pieces to completely dry.
Hot glue a sea rock to the treasure box and then hot glue the mermaid onto the sea rock. The sea rock will act as an anchor to the mermaid since the mermaid doesn't attach easily to the treasure box by itself.
Using white cardstock, print and cut out the "Let's Be Mermaids" favor tags and attach them to the mermaid skeleton using hot glue.
Hot glue an array of sea shells, mini starfish, ocean water pearl beads and, of course, black spiders to up the creep factor just a little more. Fill the favor boxes with Halloween candy or any other trinkets you can think of.
Place the favor boxes on your party table for the guests to take home. They'll love having their own little mermaid skeleton from this spooky haunted mermaid party!
