For Christmas every year, my Grandma would hang a wreath on her front door that had lots of little wrapped gifts on it. As a child I often wondered what was inside each of those little presents and who they were for. I would stare at the wreath and imagine which gift was mine and what little trinket was inside. But when I asked my Grandma who the little gifts were for and if any were for me, she looked at me and smiled, ‘Those little gifts are for the elves!! They work so hard every Christmas to get everyone’s gifts made that I thought it would be nice to give them a little something for Christmas too!’ Now you can make your very own Mini Christmas Gift Wreath for your very own little elves. Just follow the simple directions below.
Use a glue gun to adhere the end of 1 ½” wide Red Satin Ribbon to a 12” Wood Wreath Form. Wrap the ribbon around the wreath until the entire wreath form is covered. Glue the end of the ribbon to the wreath to secure in place.
Assemble the mini treat boxes and glue 5/8” red and white satin ribbon around the boxes. Tie a pretty bow from the ribbon and glue onto the top of the favor boxes.
Glue squares of tissue paper into the mini gift bags.
Arrange the boxes and bags onto the wreath form and glue into place.
Tie a length of ribbon into a hanger and glue the hanger to the back of the wreath.
Hang this wreath on your front door or above your mantle and give back to those little elves who help make the holidays happen.
