With three layers of utter deliciousness, this sweet treat is full of color and flavor and will definitely steal your heart this Valentine's Day. This recipe was perfect to serve at our Valentine's Day Pizza Party.
- Sugar Cookie Dough
- 5 Tbsp. Salted Butter
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 2 c. Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 t. Vanilla
- 2 c. Diced Fruit
Roll out the sugar cookie dough until it is 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies. Place on a baking sheet 2 inches apart and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
While the cookies are cooling make the icing for your cookies. In a bowl, cream butter and cream cheese. Mix until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla then mix until light and fluffy.
Cut up fruit into small pieces. I used strawberries, mango, pineapple, raspberries, blueberries and kiwi.
Place a cookie on a plate and let the kids spread the creamy icing on their cookie.
Top the sugar cookie with your favorite fruit.
