These cute and colorful Shopkins inspired mini piñatas make adorable party favors or fun party prizes! They're easy to make and can be filled with goodies and small toys for the little party guests. Download the Free Shopkins Party Printable here. Trace the various shapes you want on paper for your piñatas. Make a top shape and a bottom shape for your piñata. For this one, I used two triangles to make a watermelon. Cut out the shapes and then trace them onto cereal boxes. Be sure to cut a strip of cereal box that's about 2" wide and about 6" long.

Using Mod Podge and a foam brush, apply the adhesive to the shape you cut out of the cereal box.

Trim the excess crepe paper off. Cut tiny slits into the crepe paper to create a fringe.

Cover the second shape with crepe paper. This one doesn't need to look fancy since it will be mostly covered up. I just added a few strips of crepe paper to make sure there was no cardboard showing through.

Cover the strip of cereal box with crepe paper, curve it in a circle and place it on top of the shape that doesn't have the fringe on it. Now is the time to fill the circle in with candy and Shopkins favors.

Attach the fringed part of the piñata shape to the bottom half of the piñata and seal together with adhesive. Cut out eyes from the free template you already printed out, create a mouth for your piñata characters, then glue the pieces to the piñatas.
