Halloween will be here before you know it and this year you can add a bit of haunting Halloween fright to greet your eager trick-or-treaters by decorating your front door! Mummifying our front door took only a few minutes and added the cute and ghoulish touch we were going for. Follow these few simple steps and you'll be on your way to magnificent mummified front door of your own!
Begin by adhering the end of the first spool of White Craft Gauze Cheesecloth to the top, inside portion of your front door using a Glue Dot®. Once attached, open your door and pull and wrap the Cheesecloth around the door. Continue wrapping until the entire spool is used. Adhere the end with a Glue Dot®.
Continue this process with more Cheesecloth, adding in some diagonal pieces of Cheesecloth to give that perfect mummy look until your entire door is covered.
Flip over 2 White Paper Plates and then attach 2 Black Dessert Plates using Glue Dots. Place a few more Glue Dots around the rim of the White Plates and then stick them on the door so they look like the eyes of your mummy.
Your mummified door is now ready to give your trick-or-treaters a bit of a spook! Happy Halloween!
