We love counting down to Christmas each year. This year we are counting down the last 8 days before Christmas with a Nativity Christmas Countdown. I love the craft roll Nativity kit and thought it would make a perfect way to count down to Christmas with my kids, while helping them remember the true meaning of Christmas. Each day of the countdown, our family will open one bag, read the attached scripture and create the coordinating craft roll Nativity piece. Be sure to download the free printable tags here.
Print out the free printable Nativity Story Scripture countdown tags. Cut around each tag to make a circle tag.
Punch a hole at the top of each free printable tag. Tie the tags on the gift bags with red baker's twine.
Place a craft roll set in each bag that matches the scripture for that day. Example: Place the parts to make a Shepherd in the #4 bag, that shares the scripture about the Shepherds.
Do this for all 8 pieces of the Christmas Nativity.
Each day of the countdown, let your family open one bag. The bag will hold one part of the craft roll Nativity scene. Read the Nativity Story scripture on the tag attached, and create that part of the craft roll Nativity. Let kids display the Nativity before and during Christmas.
