Use a sponge paint brush and acrylic paint to paint the unfinished wood frame in the color of your choice. We chose a nice nautical blue color that will bring out the color of our centerpieces.
Use a sanding block to sand the edges of the frame to create a more distressed look.
To make the nautical knot, cut two 10” lengths of cotton cording. Fold the lengths in half. Slip the one fold into the other fold. Thread the ends of that same strand through the loop of the same strand. Use a glue gun to glue the knot to the frame.
