For the first style votive, use a glue gun to adhere a length of striped satin ribbon around a glass votive holder.
Thread an anchor charm onto a length of blue satin ribbon and tie a knot. Trim the ribbon ends and glue the knot to the votive holder.
Moving onto the second style of votive, glue the end of a length of 5mm natural cording to a glass votive holder. Continue wrapping and glue the cording around the votive holder, gluing along the way to hold the cording in place. Stop wrapping when you have reached about ½” from the top of the votive.

And last but not least, the third style of nautical votive! To make the nautical knot, cut four 10” lengths of 5mm natural cording. Glue the knot to the votive holder. Wrap the ends of the rope around the votive. Glue the ends to the back of the votive holder. Trim off the excess rope.
