Geometric design and painted tropical leaves are both very on trend right now. We've combined these trends with a futuristic Neo Mint color palette to create a stylish modern wreath to use at your wedding or bridal shower.
We added delicate light pink dried stems and pretty blooms to the geometric wreath frame to complete the look. We absolutely adore how it looked hanging over our wedding cake on the dessert bar cart.
First, spray paint Medium Polyester Palm Leaves and Large Palm Leaves in shades of modern mint.
Tip: There are multiple brands of spray paint that have a selection of mint shades. Modern Mint, Venom, Pistachio, Catalina Mist, Robins Egg or Gemini Green provide a shade of Neo Mint.
Next, use the stems of each leaf to attach them to the Gold Geometric Wreath. Layer the larger leaves behind the smaller leaves.
Use floral wire to secure in place around the side of the wreath if necessary.
Next add a layer of dried pink flowers or leaves, attach using floral wire.
Next, break off a portion of Fern Garland and spray paint this white. Then split it into 2 equal portions of approx 4-5 inches long.
Attach the painted fern to the wreath using floral wire.
Next, remove the flowers from the Gold Hoop with White Floral Accent and attach these to the wreath in the center of the grouping of leaves. This covers the connection and provides a beautiful focal point.
Finally, hang the wreath with the tropical leaf and floral decor to the left side of the wreath for a uniquely modern look.
