Before a new school year officially starts, we have an Open House Night at our school. Children come with their families to meet their new teachers and see their classrooms for the first time! I always give my new firsties a little gift to get them excited and help with any jitters! This year I designed night shirts for them to wear to bed the night before school starts! Choose the type of shirt you want to order. I decided to go with a short sleeve cotton T-shirt, but there are LOTS of options. I didn't know the sizes of my students, but I wanted the night shirts to be a little oversized. I ordered an adult small for all of my first graders.
Pick the color of your shirt. This was by far the hardest decision for me! There are just SOOO many great colors!
Upload your design. I created my design using PowerPoint and saved it as a jpeg file. You can change the color of your design during this step too!
Select how many shirts you will need and check out! Before my order was processed, a representative called me on the phone to make sure everything looked exactly the way I wanted. The customer service is great!
Now just sit by the door and wait! Not really- but I was SO excited for my shirts to come! Before they arrived, I printed colorful gift tags to attach to each shirt! Download the free Shirt Tag Printables here. You can download them for kindergarten to fifth grade in both color or black and white.
