Skip the mess of carving a pumpkin this Halloween and create a no-carve masterpiece instead! Our No-Carve Raven Pumpkin added the perfect crowning touch to the overall decor of our Birds of a Feather Creep Together Dinner Party. Follow the easy peasy steps to create your own! Begin by covering your work surface to prep for painting your foam pumpkin. Paint the stem of the pumpkin with black acrylic paint, and the pumpkin itself dark gray.
Once the grey paint has dried, add a black raven to the center of the pumpkin. Download the free raven printable found here to use as a template to trace, and then fill in the raven with black paint. Alternatively, if you have a cutting machine you can find the cut file here to cut the raven out of black vinyl, and then attach to the pumpkin.
Next, trim several blooms from a white hydrangea garland. Cut the blooms at the base of the stems with a pair of scissors.
Using a hot glue gun, begin adhering the hydrangea blooms to the pumpkin in a line under the raven to create the form of a tree branch.
Finally, display your creation atop a white candle holder on your dessert table during your Birds of a Feather Creep Together Dinner Party for all to see!
