Decorating your windows is a really easy way to incorporate your theme and to give it a finshed look. Adding a valance is probably the most common way to give your windows more detail in your space, but you don’t always need to use fabric to accomplish this! Creating a paper valance is a great way to decorate on a budget and it will still make your room look amazing!

Measure the inside of the window you would like to put the curtains in. At this time, also determine how long you would like your curtains.

Cut the blue paper the width of your window by the length you would like your curtains, plus about 8 inches.

Fold the length of the paper to the length you would like your curtains.

Use a glue gun to glue the edge of the folded side to the back of the curtain to form a pocket.

Hot glue the circles to the back of the paint chip border making sure that the circles hang half way off of the edge.

 Glue the border to the bottom edge (non-pocket edge) of the blue paper. Slide the tension rod through the paper pocket in the top of the curtains and hang in your window.
