Using a Sponge Paintbrush and acrylic paint, paint the outside of a DIY Unfinished Wood Rustic Chevron Tray. Paint every other chevron on the tray as well leaving half of them as the raw wood. We painted ours with pink chevron and black sides but you can choose whatever colors match your home office décor the best.
Next, we will be painting the sides of a DIY Basswood Canvas Rectangle with gold paint. This will ensure that the wood will not show through the glitter in the following step.
Once the paint is dry, apply Mod Podge® Acrylic Sealer and Gold Glitter to the gold painted edge making sure to work in sections.
While we are working with Mod Podge®, use a fresh Sponge Paintbrush to apply a thin layer of Mod Podge® sealer to the top of the glittered piece of wood. Download and print the Boss Babe Quote Free Printable onto cardstock and apply the print to the wet Mod Podge®. Once the print is dry, trim around the wood removing the excess paper.
