Download and print out our free template and cut out the shape with scissors. Lay the paper egg shape in the center of a Bright Trim Drawstring Bag and trace the shape lightly onto the canvas bag using a pencil. Download the Free Easter Egg Printable here!
Use a Foam paint brush to paint the inside of the traced egg with Crayola White Acrylic Paint. If you want to get a cleaner look along the edge of your white-painted egg shape, use a Detail paint brush. Allow the paint to dry for 1 hour before moving on to Step 3.
Use a series of Fancy Fabric Paint Pens to add designs to your white-painted eggs. The examples pictured here show a simple draped garland design in paint colors that match the respective canvas bag, but you could try multicolored polka dots, hearts, or even a monogram detail. Fill in the edge of the egg shape when you finish your center design for a cleaner look. Allow the paint to dry for 2-3 hours until its completely dry to the touch, then move on to Step 4.
