Waddle, waddle here comes the penguin! Ella and Annie loved the cheery Christmas party supplies so much at Oriental Trading, we were inspired to make this adorable paper plate penguin. The cute rosy cheeks get me every time! Create this sweet paper plate penguin with white paper plates, black and pink acrylic paint, dip and dotter paint sponges, craft foam and sharpies. Imagine the cuteness you can create! I think the girls and I will make a few other Winter characters this holiday season.
Use a black sharpie or marker to draw a small triangle at the top of the plate. Continue to trace around the inner rim with the marker. With the black acrylic paint, paint the outer rim of the plate, as pictured. Draw two eyes with a black sharpie.
With a circle dip and dotter sponge, press two pink cheeks on the penguin.
Cut two penguin feet and a beak from orange craft foam and glue onto the penguin. Cut two flippers from the black craft foam sheets and glue to back of the paper plate.
